Pink Engagement Rings

When people talk about pink engagement rings they either mean that the band is pink, or that the gemstone is pink. In some circumstances, both the band and stone may be pink in colour.

Following the engagement ring given to Jo-Lo by Ben Affleck in 2003 (which is rumoured to have cost over $1,000,000), and more recently, the ring received by Nicole Ritchie, pink diamond engagement rings have become increasingly popular. These pink engagement rings are really expensive because the pink diamonds are mostly sourced from a single area in Australia. However, these engagement rings look great, so it could be argued that it's worth it to obtain a more unique engagement ring. There are other ways of achieving the look of pink engagement rings without having to spend a fortune. Man made versions of pink diamonds can be created in the laboratory and these are much more affordable. Some couples also purchase pink sapphire engagement rings, or pink tourmaline engagement rings.

The most valuable pink engagement rings are the ones with darker pink diamonds, but all pink diamond engagement rings look fantastic. For the most affordable option, some choose a pink cubic zirconia engagement ring.

Rather than go for a pink engagement ring with a pink gemstone, it is possible to create pink engagement rings where the band provides the pink hue. These rings are made from rose gold or pink gold, or a pink tinge can be added to a titanium band. This is a cost effective way of creating a pink engagement ring without having to invest in a pink diamond stone.

Some couples decide to create pink engagement rings by combining a pink stone with a pink band. But whatever option is chosen, a pink engagement ring represents something a bit different. Lots of unique engagement rings have incorporated pink diamonds for a feminine and sophisticated look.
